BLACK is a 'non' colour. All the vibration of the White light containing all the colours is absorbed into BLACK and nothing is reflected back again. Therefore BLACK absorbs all the vibration and heat of the light which makes it a warm colour.

BLACK gives nothing out, so it is a colour of mystery. When wearing BLACK you are not expressing anything as you would be if you were wearing a colour. Each Colour is expressing its own need or attitude but BLACK gives nothing out. Therefore it protects you and allows you to retreat behind its strength.

BLACK as a colour of the clergy says "I give myself to God, I am a servant and deny myself and separate myself from worldly pleasures."

BLACK is the colour worn by 'non persons' such as widows, sales people, waiters, etc.

BLACK is also the colour of 'Sophistication' (which means false) and can create an exciting, elegant image as the imagination is free to wonder what is hidden behind it.
