GREEN is the colour of balance and harmony. It is the MIDDLE colour of the Rainbow and the MIDDLE colour of the Chakras in the body.

GREEN is the combination of Blue (emotional needs) and Yellow (Intellect) therefore it represents a balance between our emotional needs and our mind.

GREEN is the colour of the HEART chakra, and so is soothing for the heart and the blood as well as our breathing. This Chakra is between the physical YELLOW and the spiritual PALE/TURQUOISE BLUE.

GREEN is the colour which is favoured by people who like 'the good life'. People who like to have a settled, comfortable home, to go out to good restaurants, theatre etc. There is always a need for balance in the life.

GREEN has an energy which is contained i.e. the movement is contained within itself. It doesn't move outward (like Yellow). It doesn't go into eternity, or into the self (like Blue). It influences the object (us). Its direction is inward.

GREEN deals with self assessment and an attitude of will. If you want to improve your determination and be in control of a situation choose Green.

GREEN represents SECURITY. This is the colour of acquiring things. This combination of Blue/emotions and Yellow/the world is saying, "I am secure in the world". The more Yellow the Green is relates to security of Mental achievements. The more Blue the Green has relates to emotional security.

LIGHT GREEN : The colour of new leaves (lime green) signifies new growth, the desire to move forward and to learn and grow.

OLIVE GREEN (with a touch of Black, or Brown) : The addition of Black to harmonious life style colour Green creates a feeling of a burden so that the harmony can only be sustained by 'carrying on' regardless of the hardness of the task. The addition of Brown relates to the physical body (Kahki). This colour, as well as being a camouflage creates in the mind the need to push the physical body (Brown) past the need for comfort (Green).

BOTTLE GREEN (dark green, containing a lot of Black) : Dark Green indicates a need to 'ground' the harmony and 'good life' of Green. If this colour is preferred it indicates a need to control the emotions and the mind so that they can be used in a manner which will bring traditional or materialistic needs into being.

EMERALD GREEN : The colour of Healing. This green carries with it a special energy which heals and harmonises the body and relates to the Gem stone Emerald.

MURKY GREEN : indicates jealousy and greed. As GREEN indicates MONEY this Green can show a jealousy of others possessions. Mid Green indicates a love of good things purchased by money and Dark Green shows a need to control yours and others money and possessions.
