<<< Colour Orange >>>

Affects Orange has in our lives >>

ORANGE combines the strength and masculine drive of RED with the intelligence and communication skills of YELLOW.

This combination creates a need for friendly communication. Depending on the strength of the RED in the ORANGE, we get the strong leader and teacher or the friendly chatterer.

ORANGE belongs to the Sacral Chakra... the area of the body connected with our sexual, relationship, confidence needs. Many people do not like ORANGE, finding it too confronting. Soft Apricot or Peach is usually acceptable as it does not deman so much and is more accepting.

ORANGE is the colour of the social person, the one who loves to touch and be involved with others.

ORANGE shows a need to belong, a need to relate to happenings on a larger scale.

ORANGE is the sensation of the present applied to the future. This applies more strongly in the ORANGE with the most RED content.

ORANGE makes our minds dynamic - alert - can give us new ideas and creative inspiration.

ORANGE in excess in a person's life can show an over ambitious nature.

ORANGE was the colour of the 60's. A time when we spent lots of time in each others ORANGE kitchens, playing cards, talking, exchanging ideas. 6 is the number of Libra, the social communicator.

Different ORANGE >>

STRONG RED ORANGE... Expansive estraversion, the expansiveness towards the concrete reality. Not for the self - more on a community level. CHROME ORANGE... (Middle Orange - the colour of an Orange) Very good colour to wear for bronchitis/ashma. The energy of excition dissolves into excitability. This colour is a body normaliser - good for circuulation and digestion. This colour gives a desire to lead, without the overpowering drive of RED ORANGE.

DEEP CHROME ORANGE... (Yellow Orange) This colour leans more towards the mind. This can be the colour of Wisdom, and can create mental and spiritual ability. This colour is worn by Tibetian Holy men as a symbol of compassion and humble giving. A good balancing colour. Will relieve repressed emotions.

LIGHT ORANGE... Extroverted by more affectionate than passionate. Cheerful rather than amarous. Friendly and readily caring. Good colour for any occupation where you meet a lot of people.

PALE ORANGE/PINK... This is a Pink/Apricot, bringing together the cheerful communication of ORANGE with the loving values of PINK. A very comfortable colour for gentle communication.

APRICOT/BROWN... The touch of BROWN in APRICOT adds a working value to this friendly communicating colour, allowing all who are in its vibration to happily work together.
