natural therapies, meditation, thought processes and more. We invite you to participate

environmental sustainability, what ever is your interest. We will be inviting
notarised professionals to participate also. If you would like to know more about
a particular topic, drop us a line and we will include it in an upcoming publication.
This month's publication focuses on chakras; we hope you find it an experience.
Let's talk about Chakras
There
are seven major energy centres in the body, commonly referred to as chakras. Chakra
is a Sanskrit word, which means "wheel". The chakras are similar to
wheels, in that they are spinning vortexes of energy. They are centres of force,
located within our etheric body, through which we receive, transmit and process
life energies. The seven major chakras correspond to specific aspects of our
consciousness and have their own individual characteristics and functions. Each
has a corresponding relationship to a location on the body, as well as to one
of the seven colours of the rainbow spectrum. We will talk about the colours associated
with each chakra, but it is important to note that if you feel a greater connection
with a different colour to that chakra then use that colour as your association.
Only you know what is right for you. [

Used Chakra
Awareness Guide by Legion of Light There
are many ways to activate and realign your chakras. One way is to work through
a colour meditation. Sitting or lying in a comfortable, quiet place, close your
eyes and visualise the colour at the chakra centre (remember you can ask yourself
at this point what colour is right for you). Feel the energy there, breathing
in love, out hate, in gratitude, out shame. Feel the warmth that grows there and
the cleansing you create. Be with the chakra and allow thoughts to pass or linger
at their leisure, not yours. You can choose to place a cupped hand over the chakra
to feel the energy channel through you (as used in Reiki; more on that in another
issue). This process assists in activating the chakras. When are satisfied with
cleansing, move up to the second chakra. If using a Reiki hand, keep one finger
connected the first chakra as you trace your way to the second, then keep your
hand cupped over the chakra. Continue this process until you have moved through
the seven chakras to the crown chakra. Enjoy the energy you create. Be one with
your chakras and balance them to your natural rhythms. Other
