Psychick Focus >>

So much has happened this year. There were a lot of games played.. the FIFA World Cup, the Commonwealth Games, the Winter Olympic and the Glamorous Gay Games.

Not only was there competition on the field and track, but also the constant rumble of religious unrest. Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda took another step in their campaign with the Bali bombings.

These events have changed the way we look at our world. They have changed our focus of importance. And in all of this I believe we will wake up to a better beginning. A new age is brewing out of the Age of Pisces. This century brought the decline of Church power over most governments. They can only advise and recommend now. This is a decline in the force of Pisces and the Great Religions.

The Age of Aquarius begins approximately 2060 to 2100, but there is an overflow where we are seeing things start to change. The Age of Aquarius is predicted to run for 1500 years and in that there will be a thousand years of peace.

Today being December 4th, there are changing forces in the wind, for behold... today there will be a Total Solar Eclipse moving around South Africa and the bottom of Australia, a New Moon in Sagittarius & Jupiter Retrograde.

Other hightlights this month include the Full Moon in Cancer; Summer Solstice and of course New Years Eve!! Check out Esoteric Daydreams for more information on esoteric events this month.

Have a wonderful holiday season. May a thousand wishes come your way.

A Thought >>

Do you ever look at your friends or people and think they are so lucky for all that they have and are. Thinking "I wish I had what they have" or "I wish there was that same quality about me".

Try to look at it from a different perspective. What is our desire might be their bane in life. Things that seem rosey on the outside are not always so at the inner level. We all have a burden to carry in life. It is how we decide to deal with it that either gives us strength or challenges us. In the learning of this lesson, we are given the opportunity to grow and move on.

No matter what this year has brought, think on the fact that you made it through. Enjoy this celebratory time of year with the space to let new ideas for the new year filter in of their own accord. Look on life now with the insight gained this year. Open yourself to your truest desires and put thought into action.

Tibetan Health Focus >>

A friend from Nature Care College has asked me to share with you the wonderful work that is going on in small village in Tibet. The Tibetan Refugee Settlement Camp ~ Tashi Palkhiel

Their main aim is to continue to advance the school education system at the Mt Kailash School which looks after both Tibetan and Nepali children.

The other main aim of the site is to promote the provision of the first regular dental service to both the Tibetan people at the camp and the local Nepali communities.

Medical Clinic and Treatments

Currently there is a small building which has been established as a medical centre. It is attended by a western trained medical doctor for one hour per week.

There is also a Tibetan Herbal Medicine service available three days a week.

The clinic is dedicated to the free treatment of all people, Tibetan and Nepali and any one else. The clinic is financed by the Monastery and medicines are sold at cost price.

There has been NO dental treatment available till now. The state of dental health is below terrible. This is having a dramatic impact on the general health of the population. It is well known that periodontal (gum) disease is one of the major influences on Heart disease and Diabetes, both of which are prevalent. By addressing these issues we believe that we can make a serious impact on reducing this needless disaster. The Nepali nurses who work at the clinic are excited to be involved and would love to learn basic dental skills for Oral Hygiene.

Tibetan Yak Guest House

The guest house is run by Buchung and Tsumchoe who are the most beautiful hosts you will find anywhere in the world. It is simple and reasonably basic for westerners but it is immaculately clean and set in the magic of Machhapuchre. There are 5 rooms and a dining room.

Meals are a feast of traditional Tibetan cuisine or western if desired.

This place is a must for travellers and for those who wish to experience the elegance of Tibetan hospitality, Tashi Palkhiel.
