Sat 7: Uranus Retrograde :
Uranus is quite far from the Sun, and thus it takes a full 84 years for this planet to orbit the star at the solar system's center. A Uranian year is so long that this planet remains in each Sign of the Zodiac for about seven years. The stationary period for Uranus is two weeks, and its retrograde lasts for about five months out of every Earth year.

In general, when Uranus is in retrograde, we should expect the unexpected. Surprises pop out from every corner and this can be either marvelous or startling, depending on the situation. Uranus is the Wild Card of the Planets; it can bring drastic whims and shifts that amaze and bemuse. A Uranus retrograde could bring unexpected effects that could yield the complete opposite or even no change at all. During this time, chaos may be present either externally in the outside world or internally within the individual.

Uranus retrograde may set your wild side free or it could make a notoriously outgoing person uncharacteristically shy. Straight-laced school marms may suddenly be dancing on top of pianos and effervescent party types may suddenly feel more comfortable, calmly relaxing in a hot bath. Explosions in your personality are not uncommon; you may behave differently than other people perceive you.

Sat 14 : Full Moon : Long Nights Moon SH : Strong Sun Moon NH (Moon in Sagittarius) : A time when comprehensive ideas come to light and awakenings through association.

Long Nights Moon : Tension builds this time of year, so we focus our ritual on releasing stress. Buy a bottle of your favorite bubble bath (this applies to you men, too). Cast a circle in your bathroom; light candles. Fill your tub with warm water and add a generous amount of bubble bath. As you remove each piece of clothing, shed one more worry from the daily world. When you are naked, step into the foaming bubbles. As the water leaches tensions from your body, lean back and close your eyes. Imagine yourself drifting in a tropical sea, with the Sun gently beating on your face. Slide into the ocean, as tension is carried away. Sense the life that pulses around you, in the waves and under the glassine surface, and yet, none of this activity interferes with your peace. Give up the worry that permeates your days to the water mother. When you leave the bath, take a cool rejuvenating shower. Affirmation for the Long Nights Moon: "I remain serene in the face of the chaos around me."

Strong Sun Moon : This month let us turn to the oceans, lakes, and streams for our inspiration to cast a spell for peace and happiness this Full Moon. Decorate your space with a pale blue cloth and a pair of gold candles. Light the candles, cast a circle, and invoke Aphrodite, foam-born Goddess of the Sea. Now take a glass gallor jar and spread a layer of blue aquarium gravel in the bottom. Atop the gravel, layer quartz crystals, silver beads, and seashells of varying sizes. Fill the jar with water, and tint it a pale aqua. Cap the jar tightly. Focus on peace and happiness filling your life, and say: "Ocean Mother, Father Sun, let my will now be done. To this spell bring joy and love, roses wild, gentle doves. Aphrodite smile down on me, as I will so mote it be." Set the jar out under the morning sunlight and leave to collect the rays of brilliant light from this, the most joyous of months. Affirmation for the Strong Sun Moon: "My live reflects the joy in my heart."

Moon in Sagittarius : The Moon in Sagittarius brings a time of adventure seeking and spontaneity. People may feel more adventurous, friendly, and fun-loving. It is a good time for exploring interests and ideas and for broadening the mind. Like the Archer that represents Sagittarius, people may have an inclination toward seeking out truth and higher meaning and following intuition, as well as flights of fancy. While the desire for freedom will be strong, people may want to do what they want, when they want, and be impulsive and independent. These inclinations can cause restlessness and a strong need for freedom.

Sun 22 : Sun in Cancer : When the Sun is in Cancer, things may get a little moody and emotional. While Cancer motivates us to reflect on our pasts, to draw our loved ones near to us and to nurture others without asking for nurturing in return, this Moon-ruled Water Sign can really make us grumpy. That said, Cancer could be a time of heightened emotional sensitivity, a time when the cerebral connections forged under the Gemini Sun move to a more intimate plateau. Flirtatious affections take on a greater gravity during this time as the Cancer Sun exposes our emotions and lays bare our vulnerabilities. Socializing takes a backseat to nostalgic memories and quiet nights at home. Food and family become very important at this time, as they provide us an opportunity to nurture one another and give us the most basic and unconditional of loves -- the very thing we need most right now.

A good time for:

Taking personal relationships to more substantial, serious levels
Staying in and looking through
old photo albums and scrapbooks
Perform nurturing, domestic activities like cooking or gardening

Mon 30 : New Moon (Moon in Cancer) : Because the Moon rules the Sign of Cancer, people will be particularly affected by this influence. People may feel more emotional and more sensitive than usual. This is a time of sentimentality and nurturing and caring for family and other loved ones. Like the Crab that represents Cancer, people may become moody and vulnerable to emotional upsets. Care needs to be taken to avoid hurting the feelings of others as well as having your own feelings hurt.

Each month we focus on a different crystal to help you become acquainted with their elements and how they can help you.

I have been asked for a definitive description of this crystal. That is why it is longer than normal. An amazing crystal I think :)

Labradorite

Labradorite is a type of feldspar which crystallises in the form of masses, grains and tabular crystals. The colour range includes white, yellow and grey. Often, a display of spectral colours, due to the interference of light rays from the poate-like composition, causes labradorite to flame with broad patches of peacock blue, coppery red or dusky gold labradorescence.

This mineral protects ones aura and helps to keep the aura clear, balanced, protected and free from energy leaks. It assists in the alignment of the subtle bodies, enhancing the connection between the physical and ethereal realms.

It is said to represent the "temple of the stars", assisting one in sustaining and maintaining, while providing for the understanding of the destiny one has chosen. It brings the light of the other planetary beings to the soul of the user. The labradorescence is a luminescence, derived from extra-terrestrial origin, which is enclosed in the mineral to bring the galactic evolved energies form other worlds to the Earth plane.

The energy of labradorite facilitates the transformation of intuition into intellectual thought such that one can implement the instructions provided. It assists one to traverse changes, attracting strength and perseverance. It has been known as the matriarch of the subconscious mind, providing instructive sessions to the user concerning the implementation of inner messages and the utilisation of same in the physical domain. It can help to provide clarity to the inner sight, instilling a passionless peace of imperturbability via the annihilation of disturbing thoughts.

It also symbolises the moon and helps one to advance, without constraint, through the cycles of progression, heralding the arrival of ascension. It also symbolises the sun, providing for vitality and for a sense of "self" during transitions, and promoting refinement of action and discernment in direction.

It unites the personal self with the understanding required to both realise and achieve the destiny of this life, relieving insecurity and apprehension, while enhancing faith and reliance in oneself and the absolute purity of the universal harmony.

It assists one in eliminating aspects of familiarity which obscures thought and blurs instance, helping one with originality and precision, and bringing uniqueness without judgment to ones contemplative patterns.

It helps one to reflect and to facilitate transformations which are beneficial. It also enhances patience and an inner knowing of "the right time".

It allows for recognition that humanity represents the "Being of Light", transcending the limitations of the past and the thoughts of the future, and embracing the infinite possibilities of the moment. It helps one to both "be" and to proceed with the assurance that the light is always there, surrounding and pure.

Labradorite brings the commencement of recognition of ones inherent analytical and rational abilities. It further promotes the synthesis of intellectual thought with the intuitive, mystical and psychic wisdom.

It assists in inspiring one to introduce the teachings of other worlds to this world of love and light, bringing assimilation and illumination to further the advancement of humanity.

It can be used during radionic analysis; holding a sample and placing a sample on the witness or using a pendulum of this stone, the energy of the stone interferes with the energy of the user and points to the problem(s) involved.

It has been used in the treatment of disorders of the brain, to stimulate mental acuity, and to reduce anxiety and stress. It can assist in digestion, regulation and metabolism. It has also been used to clarity the eyes.
