We have been asked to write an article on what it's like to be a psychic.

"Really… I'm on the ride of a lifetime. We have to make big sacrifices in our personal life to follow this path, I've talked to many psychics and all say the same thing. It's a hard road but the benefits outweigh the down side. The best thing is the amount of people we are able to help."

"Everyone has some form of ability whether an acute sense of intuition (that gut feeling when we make decisions) or more intense experiences such as visions, voices, etc. Many people in their lifetime will be in a position to use one or all of these gifts. Usually in a time of acute pain, fear or danger will these abilities surface. This is a self-preservation instinct."

"How many times have you gone against your instincts only to think back 'Why didn't I listen?' and when you have listened feeling an incredible Joy that says Job well done?"

"Through our lifetime some will choose to find a way to access and master these abilities, others will prefer to leave well enough alone. The human race on a whole, at the moment, is making huge jumps in this area. "

"If you find you have an ability and it frightens you - Don't feel alone. All of us go through some fear and trepidation when all of this begins."

"A couple of simple exercises that will help you to focus and expand your intuition are:

1) When you go to sleep at night, close your eyes and focus in on your third eye. This may hurt in the beginning so don't do it for long. 10-20 seconds is more than enough time. Practice this every night and you will find the time period of concentration gets longer and longer. After a time you should find pictures or visions forming in your minds eye. Interpretation will be up to the individual.
2) Hold a crystal close to the front of your face and concentrate on it. After a time it should become outlined in a soft glow then close your eyes and watch in your minds eye for visions etc. Again interpretation is left up to you.

Witches and natural healers would gather herbs this time of year to stock up for the year.

Seed/Storm Moon: During March we hunger for the scent of freshly-plowed earth. The winds come sweeping through, and the electricity of new life fills the air. When the flowers begin to grow, plant then in your garden. Affirmation for the Storm Moon: I embody the power of growth.
