Mon 3 : New Moon (Moon in Pisces) :
You merge easily with others emotionally. You have a great capacity to comfort and heal. You are able to give all of yourself for the sake of those around you. You may become confused about your own feelings - and need to spend time alone to meditate and heal. You nurture others by making sacrifices to fulfill their needs, or by helping them to find spirituality and transcendence. You look to your mother for spirituality and compassion.

Tues 18 : Full Moon : Harvest Moon SH : Snow Moon NH (Moon in Virgo) : A time when you will be intuitive and sensitive to occult impressions, whether psychic or spiritual.

Harvest Moon : March, with Mabon, brings a period of transition to the less active, more internal part of the year. This month our Moon ritual focuses on celebration and sharing.

Gather friends together if can, and have each person bring food to donate to your local food bank. Create a colourful altar with gourds, apples, and bottles of port and sherry. Cast a circle and invoke the God and Goddess. Place all the donated food in the center of the circle and join hands. Say: "Lady of the silver Moon, Lord of the Golden Sun, join our rites this harvest night, in laughter let your will be done. Bless this food we've gathered here for those in want and need. As we walk the ancient paths let our hearts reflect our deeds. "

After you've blessed the food, drink a toast to the season, the gods, and each other. Share a potluck dinner and then distribute the donations to the charities of your choice.

Snow Moon : During March we hunger for the scent of freshly-plowed earth. The winds come sweeping through, and the electricity of new life fills the air.

This Full Moon take a hard cooked egg and, on the shell, paint runes and symbols to represent something you want to see happen in your life. When dry, take the egg, a small clay pot, a packet of nasturtium seeds, and a trowel out into a patch of woods.

Cast a circle and invoke your gods and goddesses. Fill the pot with soil. Hold the egg and focus on the creative force of the Goddess, the strength of your desire. Place it in the pot. Next, hold the nasturtium and focus on the generative force of nature, the force of the God. Circle the egg with the seeds. Cover with soil and say: "Mother's egg and Father's seed, bring me what I desire. Quicken now my wish and will, by powers of earth, air, water, and fire. "

When the flowers begin to grow, plant then in your garden. Affirmation for the Storm Moon: "I embody the power of growth. "

Moon in Virgo : The Moon in Virgo brings a time of practicality, analysis, and efficiency. People may feel more industrious and detail-oriented. As a result, this is a good time to accomplish projects, particularly smaller scale projects that require organization and attention to detail. Due to Virgo's association with health, food and fitness may be concerns during this time. Also, people may be shy as they are absorbed in contemplation and intellectual pursuits. Because critical thinking is emphasized, caution needs to be taken to avoid being too critical or judgmental.

Fri 21 : Sun in Aries :
When the Sun is in Aries, we feel inspired to spontaneity, like we can do anything because we're absolutely indomitable. Since Aries is the first of the Zodiac, and therefore a youthful sign, this influence is one of child-like abandon and invincibility. Fire Sign Aries energy asserts itself actively, through engaging vigorously in

life, regardless of the risk attached. Also, Aries is a Cardinal Sign, so you can expect to exuberantly start a million projects. Completion? Now, that's a job for some other sign. The Ram plows headfirst into obstacles and plans with a blind fury and passion, pursuing an objective feverishly but losing interest once the thrill of the chase wears off. During this time of Aries Sun, take advantage of all this get-up-and-go: Accept challenges for the sheer pleasure of trying to meet them.

A good time for:

Enjoying the thrill of competition
Accepting a challenge
Helping others realize their strengths

Fri 21 : Autumn Equinox : Like the spring equinox, the autumn equinox is the astronomical event whereby the hours of light and dark are equal--12 hours each. This is the second harvest festival, the harvest of the fruits. It is a time of winemaking and preparing for the winter.

Sun 23 : Pluto retrograde : A whopping 248 years must pass here on Earth before Pluto completes a single cycle of rotation around the Sun. Pluto spends, on average, twenty-one years in each Sign and five months out of the year in retrograde. In between its regular cycle and retrograde Pluto rests stationary for up to seventeen days, depending on the season.

Fresh starts and dead ends accompany Pluto's retrograde stage. The things that we hang onto most tightly can suddenly be taken away. Pluto's retrograde is also a time of destruction and rebuilding, rejuvenation and regeneration. We may be forced to reevaluate the things we value most. Heavy forces that are outside of an individual's control are at play, including war, weapons and government upheaval.

Each month we focus on a different crystal to help you become acquainted with their elements and how they can help you.

Citrine

Citrine is a variety of quartz, the colour being in the range from yellow to golden brown to burnt amber.

It is one of the two minerals on the planet which does not hold and accumulate negative energy, but dissipates and transmutes it, working-out problems on both the physical and subtle levels. It, hence, never needs clearing or cleansing.

It has also been said that citrine is one of the stones to be known as the "merchant's stone"; placing a cluster or a crystal of citrine in ones cash box has produced more income for the merchant. It not only assists the merchant in acquiring wealth, but helps to maintain the state of wealth.

This mineral is useful for balancing the yin-yang energy and for aligning the chakras with the etheral plane.

Citrine Joke: Why is Citrine yellow?
Answer:
Quartz filled up with so much sunshine that it turned yellow. :)
