Thur 11 : Full Moon : Storm Moon SH : Corn Moon NH (Moon in Pisces) : The Airy Aquarius Moon is rational, sure-minded, scientific, rebellious and ingenious. Wild happenings are all too possible! You never know who you may meet, or what you might do. Be Careful...

Storm Moon : During this month we hunger for the scent of freshly-plowed earth. The winds come sweeping through, and the electricity of new life fills the air.

This Full Moon take a hard cooked egg and, on the shell, paint runes and symbols to represent something you want to see happen in your life. When dry, take the egg, a small clay pot, a packet of nasturtium seeds, and a trowel out into a patch of woods.

Cast a circle and invoke your gods and goddesses. Fill the pot with soil. Hold the egg and focus on the creative force of the Goddess, the strength of your desire. Place it in the pot. Next, hold the nasturtium and focus on the generative force of nature, the force of the God. Circle the egg with the seeds. Cover with soil and say: "Mother's egg and Father's seed, bring me what I desire. Quicken now my wish and will, by powers of earth, air, water, and fire. "

When the flowers begin to grow, plant then in your garden. Affirmation for the Storm Moon: "I embody the power of growth."

Corn Moon : September, with Mabon, brings a period of transition to the less active, more internal part of the year. This month our Moon ritual focuses on celebration and sharing.

Gather friends together if can, and have each person bring food to donate to your local food bank. Create a colorful altar with gourds, apples, and bottles of port and sherry. Cast a circle and invoke the God and Goddess. Place all the donated food in the center of the circle and join hands. Say: "Lady of the silver Moon, Lord of the Golden Sun, Join our rites this harvest night, in laughter let your will be done. Bless this food we've gathered here for those in want and need. As we walk the ancient paths let our hearts reflect our deeds. "

After you've blessed the food, drink a toast to the season, the gods, and each other. Share a potluck dinner and then distribute the donations to the charities of your choice.

Moon in Pisces: The Moon in Pisces marks a time of emotional sensitivity, nostalgia, and spirituality. People may become more sensitive, compassionate, and imaginative. As creativity will be enhanced, this is a good time to explore musical talents and other artistic endeavors. Represented by a Pair of Fishes, Pisceans are selfless and spiritual, often strongly intuitive, and they are receptive to the collective unconscious. While the Moon moves through Pisces, people may feel devoted and gentle but also fragile, passive, and timid. Dreams and memories may stir during this influence.

Tues 23 : Sun in Libra :
When the Sun is in Libra, don't expect decisions to be finalised. Libra Suns mark a time of deliberation, of hemming-and-hawing, of going over and over your options with a fine-toothed comb, weighing the pros and cons. The symbol of Libra is, of course, the Balance. This celestial situation bestows upon us a natural diplomacy and a sense of fairness, and yet we're never really quite sure if we're making the right choice. We'll be in the research stage, so to speak, investigating the possibilities and potentialities. While you're puzzling over a conclusion, you'll also be very persuasively arguing the side you most support. Libra is just as convincing as it is indecisive and tactful and cautious. With this inclination toward harmony, Libra Sun also turns our thoughts to aesthetic beauty and the wonder of interpersonal relationships. This Air Sign desires companionship -- especially romantic love bonds! Anticipate charming suitors and appeasing partners.

A good time for:

Visiting art museums or bookstores
Making your personal relationships and partnerships top priority
Romance

Tues 23 : Spring Equinox : This is the time of year when the nights and days are of equal length. The last signs of winter are giving way to spring. Ice melts, rivers run full, leaves begin to bud, grass turns green again, the lambs are born. At this time of of year the old tribes people of Europe honoured Ostera, or Esther, the Goddess of Spring, who holds an egg in her hand and watches a rabbit hop playfully around her bare feet. She stand on the green earth; she wears spring flowers in her hair. Witches empty eggs and paint them bright colours, making talismans for fruitfulness and success in the coming season of summer. We begin our gardens of flowers, vegetables and herbs that will play a part in our rituals, spells and potions. Or even for the wonderful feasts of Spring and Summer.

Celebrate this day with all the vitality of life and what lies ahead.

Fri 26 : New Moon (Moon in Libra) : The Moon in Libra ushers in a time of awareness and concern for balance and harmony between self and others. People may be more conscious of the needs and wants of other people. It is a good time for people to come together to form partnerships like marriage or new friendships. Represented by the Scales, Librans are able to see all sides of an argument but may never be able to find balance as their mental scales sway back and forth. As a result, people may not be able to make up their minds easily during this influence. However, overall, this is an excellent time to be social and gather with others.

Each month we focus on a different crystal to help you become acquainted with their elements and how they can help you.

Fluorite

Fluorite crystallises in the form of masses, grains, columns, cubes, octahedra, and rhombdecahedra crystals. The colour range includes pink, blue, green, yellow, purple, magenta, red, black and colourless, and shades of all.

This mineral produces an energy which is predisposed to discourage chaotic, disruptive, and disorganised growth. It emits an energy which can be used to stabilise and to produce order within the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual systems. It can be used to bring order to chaos.

It helps to impart impartiality and unbiased, detached reasoning in situations where it would be beneficial to both view and to act upon information objectively.

It has been known as a "stone of discernment and aptitude", bringing the energies of responsibility to the qualities of systematic intuition. It represents the height of mental achievement, facilitating a limitless range of avenues for exploration.

The energy of fluorite can inspire the universal energies to activate the nourishing energies of the body, assisting one in the attainment of the ultimate state of physical perfection. It allows one to recognise the purity of the universe and to understand that each portion of the universe maintains an inherent perfection in order to allow the unfolding of the perfect universe.
